1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using SheetGuard ("the Add-on"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Add-on.
2. Description of Service
SheetGuard is a Google Sheets add-on that provides conditional cell locking and data validation. It allows spreadsheet owners to create rules that enforce data requirements when specific conditions are met.
3. Plans and Pricing
- Free plan: 1 rule per sheet, 1 condition per rule. Free forever with no credit card required.
- Pro plan: $5.99 per month. Up to 25 rules per sheet, unlimited conditions, AND/OR logic, cross-column comparisons, custom required values, and rules on all sheets.
Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice. Any price change will not affect active billing periods.
4. Subscriptions and Cancellation
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. Upon cancellation, Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period. After expiration, the Add-on reverts to Free plan limits. Existing rules beyond Free limits will remain stored but will not be enforced.
5. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- The validation rules you create and their effect on your spreadsheet workflows
- Ensuring your rules are appropriate for your use case
- Maintaining backups of critical spreadsheet data
6. Limitation of Liability
The Add-on is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
SheetGuard operates within Google Apps Script's execution limits (30-second trigger timeout). In rare cases involving very large data sets, validation may be partially applied. The Add-on is designed to handle these gracefully, but we cannot guarantee validation will execute for every possible scenario.
In no event shall SheetGuard or its developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, or lost profits.
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Add-on is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Add-on, you consent to the data practices described therein.
8. Intellectual Property
The Add-on, including its code, design, and documentation, is the intellectual property of its developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the Add-on.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Add-on for any user who violates these Terms or engages in abusive behavior. You may stop using the Add-on at any time by uninstalling it.
10. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Add-on after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of India.
